The Regional Environment Centre (REC) for Central and Eastern Europe is a nonpartisan, non-advocacy, not-for-profit international organization with a mission to assist in solving environmental problems in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The REC has its head office in Szentendre, Hungary, and country offices and field offices in 17 beneficiary countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey.
The REC is a strong international organisation accomplishing its mission by promoting cooperation among governments, non-governmental organisations, businesses and other environmental stakeholders, and by supporting the free exchange of information and public participation in environmental decision making. The REC implements a multi-stakeholder approach and maintains both the local in-country presence and a regional perspective while carrying out its activities. At present the REC's services and products are tailored to the needs of the groups of beneficiary countries as well as to the needs emerging from the European and global processes. These are mainly drinking water related projects from urban master plans to rehabilitation works in post-conflict areas including water loss reduction measures and sanitation related works such as sewerage plants ranging from low-cost to high technology layout including sewerage pipe networks, storm water drainage and re-use of effluents.
The scope of services Gauff offers included consulting services and studies, design and planning, site supervision and technical services, project and programme management, project control as well as project operation and maintenance. The fields of activities consist of projects dealing with water supply, wastewater disposal and purification, environment protection and renewable energy, rail and road infrastructure, infrastructural design and structural engineering.

Crimean Republican Association “Ekologiya I Mir” (CRAEM)

The Crimean Republic's Association "Ekologiya i Mir" (EiM) is an environmental non-governmental organization. EiM has been founded in 1988 as a public movement aimed to stop the nuclear power plant building in the Crimea that was stopped in 1990. The organization unites about three hundred members in thirteen local branches throughout the Crimea. The EiM's mission is to act to protect the Crimean nature, health of Crimean people and peace in the region.
The EiM has worked on various projects ranging from programmes of sustainable development of the Crimea, the estimation of the Sevastopol bay sea water pollution, elaboration and implementation to awareness rising campaigns and preparation of environmental education kits for secondary schools.

Ukrainian National Environmental NGO “Mama-86”

The MAMA-86 directs its efforts at creating conditions for Ukraine's transition to sustainable development with a special focus on complex environmental challenges in the context of the economy in transition and the enhanced role of the public in these processes. "МАМА-86" is engaged in active educational activities among the general public, with a special emphasis placed on the empowerment of women, children and youth, reinforcement of NGOs' role in considering such factors as environment/health protection and civil society rights in the course of drafting the respective governmental plans, programmes and policies.
To meet this objective, a networking of related national and international information/education-oriented organizations is actively promoted; the practice of public participation in decision-making is reproduced and grass root environmental and health initiatives of female leaders are being supported.
The MAMA-86 places a major focus on ecological projects in the Ukraine, mostly with the aim to strengthen the networking of the country's NGOs.
